Ciulla & Donofrio LLP: The Construction Law Authority
Sophisticated Solutions to Complex Legal Problems

On the public side of our construction procurement practice, we guide governmental agencies and municipalities through all phases of the procurement process. We prepare bid documents, invitations to bid, requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualification (RFQs). We thoroughly review all proposals before submission to verify that they adhere to the stated requirements.

On the private side of our construction procurement practice, we facilitate communication between all involved parties, and work to protect the interests of our clients. We meet with owners to understand concerns related to schedule, price and quality. Often times, we help owners develop a budget for the project, prepare contract documents, develop purchase agreements and detail other aspects of the project. We also meet with design teams to understand their timelines and their various needs.

For all construction procurement matters, we take the time to advise clients of the local, state and federal laws that apply to the procurement and selection process.

Throughout the course of our representation, we emphasize the importance of communication. We have extensive experience handling construction litigation matters, which means that we understand the many issues that can arise during the construction process. Often times, these issues can be attributed to a simple failure to communicate — we work diligently to prevent such disputes by encouraging communication.
